Earth Day Celebration (Inter Class Competition - Classes III-V) 24th April 2025 – Earth Day Celebration (Inter Class Competition - Classes III-V)

“Let us protect the Earth like our life depends on it—because it does.”

As part of our ongoing commitment to instilling environmental consciousness and a sense of responsibility among students, our school joyfully celebrated Earth Day with a series of creative and meaningful Inter-class Activities for Classes 3, 4, and 5.

Class 3 students crafted eco-friendly bird feeders using recycled materials. This hands-on activity encouraged care for birds and nurtured empathy for living beings. Class 4 created vibrant wall hangings featuring meaningful Earth Day quotes. This artistic expression helped them communicate strong environmental messages. Class 5 designed posters on the theme “My Green Promise,”. They visualized and illustrated their individual commitments towards a healthier planet, using drawings and slogans to express their pledges. From conserving water and planting trees to reducing plastic usage, their posters demonstrated both awareness and action.

The Earth Day celebrations this year successfully blended creativity, awareness, and action. Through these class-wise activities, students not only explored ways to protect the environment but also realized the power of their contributions, no matter how small.

Earth Day Special Activity (Buds-Blooms) 22nd April 2025 – Earth Day Special Activity (Buds-Blooms)

“She wears the sky like a crown and cradles life in her arms—Mother Earth, the eternal giver."

Earth Day serves as a powerful reminder of how precious our planet is and the responsibility, we share in protecting it. The Earth generously provides us with clean air, fresh water, fertile soil, and thriving ecosystems—essentials for all forms of life. Each year on 22 April, people across the globe unite to celebrate nature, raise awareness about environmental issues, and take meaningful action toward building a more sustainable future.

As part of the Earth Day celebrations, a special activity titled ‘Little Farmers at Work’ was organized for the students of Classes Buds and Blooms, centered around the theme ‘Sowing the Seeds of Tomorrow.’ This fun-filled and educational initiative turned our young learners into enthusiastic little farmers for a day. The children arrived dressed as farmers, complete with hats, aprons, and miniature tools, radiating joy and excitement. They eagerly participated in a hands-on seed-sowing activity, where each child received a small pot, soil, and seeds. With the gentle guidance of their teachers, the children carefully planted their seeds, watered them, and placed the pots in the sunlight.

Throughout the activity, students learned about the growth cycle of plants and the essential elements—sunlight, water, and care—that help them thrive. Teachers also took the opportunity to discuss the important role of farmers in our lives and how plants contribute to maintaining the balance of our environment.

It was truly heartwarming to witness the wonder and curiosity in the eyes of the little ones as they nurtured their tiny pots. Their smiles mirrored the joy of learning through doing, and their curiosity blossomed—just like the seeds they planted. This meaningful activity not only reinforced the core message of Earth Day—to respect and care for our natural world —but also helped instill values of responsibility, appreciation for nature, and the rewards of hard work in our young learners.

Our little farmers truly sowed the seeds of a greener, more hopeful tomorrow—one pot at a time.
